Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has been slowly releasing details about his mysterious Neuralink chip that he claims will stream music directly into a person's brain.

When asked on Twitter by computer scientist Austin Howard to confirm that Neuralink's technology would allow people to listen to music straight from the chip, Musk responded with a simple, "Yes."

Musk also claimed the chip "could help control hormone levels and use them to our advantage (enhanced abilities and reasoning, anxiety relief, etc.)."

Musk claimed his new technology could also "stimulate the release of oxytocin, serotonin, and other chemicals" people need, as well as "stop rapid firing" in neural networks for OCD patients.
Although the technology could also help people suffering from brain diseases like Parkinson's, its ultimate purpose is to help humans compete with advanced artificial intelligence.
Since Neuralink's founding in 2016, there's only been one public presentation detailing how the chip works. More information is scheduled to be announced on August 28.
