After Despacito ruling the party floor for months, Spanish song Mi Gente by Colombian singer J Balvin and French singer-producer Willy William is topping the playlist.

What does it mean?
Mi gente (pronounced hente) means 'my people' in Spanish. The song primarily talks about uniting people through music and entertainment, irrespective of skin tone, culture or creed.
Mi Gente 2.0: A new version of the song released in September 28 has Beyonce lending her voice for a cause. The video is a montage that features footballer Ronaldo and his son to Neymar Jr, to DJs Tiesto, Martin Garrix and David Guetta. But Queen Bey herself is missing!

"Despacito (Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber) continues to be my fave foreign language party song because it brings out the best dance moves," said Surbhi, a cabin crew, at Myx.
THE KETCHUP SONG
Aditi Agarwal (left) and her sister Astha at The Grid had a clear fave — The Ketchup Song (Las Ketchup). "There is a certain amount of nostalgia attached to this song and I still remember the video where three girls dance on top of a table on the beach. I can only hum the chorus though," laughed the PYT, who added that she gets to hear the track at The Grid.
GANGNAM STYLE
Remember South Korean singer PSY's Gangnam Style? "This used to be a party rage in 2013 and I remember doing this hook dance step that was like horse riding! Every party used to play this song and it happened to be my absolute favourite," said Madhurima Basak (in green), a TV actor spotted with her gang at The Grid.
ECHAME LA CULPA
"I am a huge fan of Latin pop music. While Despacito and Mi Gente have become party anthems, I love another one too — Echame La Culpa by Luis Fonsi and Demi Lovato. The song pumps up my mood anytime, anywhere and I can confidently say that it's my song for all times — at the party or the gym!" said Diti Saha, looking sharp at Phoenix.
LA MACARENA
"I feel foreign language songs make great party numbers! La Macarena by Los del Rio was a rage when I was barely in my teens and we used to dance whenever it played. Then I love Shakira's Chantaje because it is so sexy! So even if you don't get the meaning, you can twerk on it," said Farheen Alam (far right) with friends at M Bar Kitchen.
