After Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin were caught kissing in New York earlier this week, Shawn Mendes was asked to weigh in on the potential couple in a new interview -- seeing as Mendes was rumored to be dating Baldwin just last month.
"I don't know if they're dating or not," Mendes admitted to etalk. However, he made it a point to voice his support for the two no matter what. "I love them both," he said. "They're both really awesome people."
Mendes and Baldwin became the subject of dating rumors late last year, although both of them separately denied any romantic involvement. Those rumors reached a fever pitch on May 8 when the pair walked the red carpet together at the Met Gala.
