The garden before and after

Although it wasn't a sunny day I managed to get the veg plot moved yesterday.  It had dominated the middle of the lawn and was quite difficult to keep tidy when it rained.  That area of the garden quickly becomes waterlogged. If you look carefully under the hedge you can see how I have used the boards to add height to the border. At the moment there is a huge bare patch of earth now where the veg plot had been but I plan to scatter some grass seed and return it to being a lawn. I haven't been able to give the garden a first cut yet as we have had so much rain. Hopefully I will get it trimmed today if it stays dry.
