Wire - A Question Of Degree

On this date in 1979, Wire released their fifth single, "A Question Of Degree". It was backed by "Former Airline". Neither track appeared on an album but both were added to their second album, Chairs Missing, as bonus tracks when it was re-released on CD. The London punk/post-punk band had already disbanded in 1980 but their record company released the record. They re-formed in 1985 and have been on and off ever since.
